At Expeditions Hallam, our educators understand how important early years education is for a child. Our educators draw on their extensive experience to support and encourage children as they navigate and develop through these first few years and pride themselves on providing a high quality education and care facility.Our educators take a multifaceted approach to early childhood education by incorporating innovative practices and educational frameworks that gives children every opportunity to explore, discover and lead their education.
Expeditions Hallam recognises that teaching and learning have taken place on its land for thousands of years and is honoured to continue this tradition. We acknowledge the original owners of the land.

Haylee
Our Centre Director Haylee has worked in the childcare industry for 16 years. Working across all levels during her career has allowed her to have a thorough understanding of all aspects; she has been a room Leader, Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader and now a Centre Director.She is a firm believer that life and the world through the eyes of children is a beautiful thing. Even when life is tough and not so fun, they are able to see the joy in the world around them, and embrace discovery and curiosity.
With a background that has seen her work in big cities and small rural communities, Haylee has learnt that things are the same no matter where you are in the wonder and excitement in a child’s eyes.
With a big heart and passion for humans, Haylee has had the pleasure of working alongside some amazing families and communities, helping others and provide support and joy when needed.
As the Underwood Centre Director, Haylee aims to provide children with a safe and warm environment where they can create, imagine, learn and be supported. She pledges to conform to the rights of the child and the Expeditions Code of Ethics.
